What Is Cosmetic Bonding?

Do you have gaps, holes or chips in your teeth? All these conditions can have a massive effect on the way we smile, how we look and how confident we feel. These factors can also have an impact on our bite and tooth alignment, as well as affecting the way we speak or eat.

Cosmetic bonding (or tooth bonding) is one of the easiest procedures available to those looking to improve the appearance of their smile and fix these conditions. It is one of the most cost-effective cosmetic dentistry procedures on the market and can be completed within one session.

Cosmetic Bonding is used in many different cases and can help fix issues including:

- Repairing Worn Teeth

- Repairing Chipped or Cracked Teeth

- Improving Discoloured Teeth

- Closing Gaps Between Teeth

- Changing the shape of Teeth

- Protecting Roots That Have Been Exposed By Gum Recession.

How Cosmetic Bonding Works?

The procedure is simple. Composite resin is shaped & moulded onto your teeth to give the appearance of a straighter smile.  Further good news - Composite resin can be applied and completed in one appointment and doesn't involve any damage or cutting down of the teeth.

No Injections

Unless you have a decayed/painful tooth, you won’t need any kind of anaesthetic.

Minimal Tooth Prep

Dentists will use tooth coloured resin to fix affected areas.

No Pain

With no drilling or injections involved,

patients rarely feel any pain when receiving a cosmetic bonding treatment.

No Damage

Bonding doesn't require any removal of the natural tooth surface, this will stay the same.
